A recognition wall is used to gradually add the names of students who have consistently shown positive behaviour and effort in class. They are also rewarded with a postcard sent home.

A hook is a real life problem used near the beginning of a lesson to show students the purpose of what they are about to learn.

A recognition spinner consists of the names of students who have shown positive attributes. The spinner selects a student at random which leads to them having a prize.
